We Have Moved Cards

Although we do a lot of our communication online these days, we still get snail mail in the form of baby shower announcements, wedding announcements, birth announcements, and cards.

We might not get a lot of handwritten letters, but it’s still important to send out our new address to those close to us. That way, when someone we know sends us an announcement, we actually get it or the host doesn’t have to message us asking for our new address.

I’VE ACTUALLY JUST MOVED—YAY!!!—and will be sending out new home cards soon to my loved ones.

Here’s an example of a moving postcard. With this design, you can customize the colors, the city and the state.

If you’re looking for creative moving announcement wording, here are some sweet lines to choose from.

Creative Moving Announcement Wording

“Our welcome mat has moved outside a different door, but you are always welcome just like you were before.”

“We finally moved, but we’ll still be around. We didn’t go far, just across town. The boxes are gone, we’ve cleaned up our mess. We’d like to give you our new address.”

“We’ve packed the house and loaded the car. Here’s a little note, so you know where we are.”

“A new house number, a new street name, our neighbors will be different, but our friends remain the same. Our new address is {fill in the blank}.”

We’ve moved post cards or moving announcements are often forgotten, but so many people really like to know that you’ve moved and what your new address is. Besides, you probably have family and friends who would love to send a house warming gift.

Happy moving!!!
