During the holiday season is when the gifts are being bought and wrapped, the holiday cheer is all around and the specialty holiday drinks are finally back! As a business you may want to show your gratitude to those loyal clients and customers who have really supported you throughout the year. However, it is important to incorporate your brand in this giving season.
Tieing In Your Brand
There are many ways that you can incorporate your brand in the gifting process. You can gift based on your brand colors, your services/products or you can personalize something with your logo on it.
I don’t know about you, but when I give out my client gifts I tend to give something edible because who doesn’t love getting snacks to nibble on while working the day away. I think chocolate can be a little overdone sometimes, however my go-to holiday snack is popcorn! I like to give popcorn out to my clients because everyone loves popcorn and if they don’t, then chances are that their family will. You can buy an assortment or you could even ask to have the popcorn customized with your branding colors and see if they could customize the packaging. There are a dime-a-dozen popcorn places, but my personal favorite is Popularity Popcorn located in Centennial Hills.
If you think popcorn isn’t for you, then you could go to a local bakery and get cookies, cupcakes or even a bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes in Summerlin. These are always a great substitute if you want to give your clients a sweet treat for them being so sweet to you.
There are some businesses that give out coupons and freebies enclosed in their holiday cards. This is a great way to show your clients that you appreciate them, but also gets them thinking of you and your product or service. I would recommend giving a voucher for a freebie item and redeem in-store if you have one. If not, I would give a freebie with purchase. An example for me would be free shipping with design purchase OR free envelope printing when purchasing an invitation.
The easiest and probably most cost effective way if you have a lot of loyal customers that you want to gift is to personalize an item with your logo and then enclose the item with a personalized note or with your holiday card. These items could range from personal notepads, drinkware, technology gadgets and writing instruments.
I recommend Vistaprint for these personalized items. I have used them for gifting my clients personalized notepads. I include a phrase like “From the Desk of John Smith” at the top in my branding typography and then on the bottom I include my logo and contact information and even my social media icons.
